The status:
Dniprodzerzhynsk public ecological organization " The Voice of Nature " is non governmental, non political, non profit association of the citizens.

The organization is created by the ex-activist of "Green peace - Ukraine" in 1999, after closing the Ukrainian branch of the international ecological organization "Green peace".

The founders of organization are: Yevhen Kolyshevskyy, Alina Berezina, Yevheniya Dubovych, Sergey Guz.

The main aims of the "Voice of Nature":

• Spreading information on environmental problems; environmental education;
• Protection of environment;
• Monitoring of the nature protection activities.

To achieve its aims the organization uses global approach, not narrowing the environmental problems to national or regional level.

The organization uses only non violent methods of achievement of its aims.

Objectives of the organization:

• Organizing conferences, seminars, round tables and other information spreading actions focusing on environmental problems;
• Developing and implementing programs aimed on increasing public awareness over environmental problems;
• Cooperation and information sharing with various organizations and associations who have the same aims and objectives;
• Promoting environmentally friendly technologies;
• Contributing to development and enforcement of environmental legislation;
• Organizing non-violent actions, pickets and meetings in order to achieve the objectives of the organization. All actions of the "Voice of Nature" are conducted according to the legislation of Ukraine;
• Working with mass media and educational programs to increase level of public awareness over environmental problems.

Directions of activity:

• Promoting energy efficient technologies on local and regional levels (" Save water and energy " campaign).
• Informing the public on regional and national levels about the causes and effects of global climate change (" Stop global climate change!" campaign).
• Promoting ratification and enforcement of the Kioto Protocol requirements in Ukraine.
• Promoting the introduction of separate household garbage collection and recycling in the city of Dniprodzerzhynsk ("reduce, reuse, recycle" campaign).
• Developing public environmental control procedures on local and regional levels.
• Educational project - lecturing in colleges and secondary schools in the city of Dniprodzerzhynsk.

Sources of financing:
The organization does not accept any financial help from political parties or business. All activities of organization are carried out at expense of membership fees, private donations and financial support from charity funds.
