• participation in round table " a Choice of ways of minimization and recycling of household waste". The organizer of a round table: Dniprodzerzhynsk environmental department.

• conducting of information actions (5 actions in different places of city):

- spreading the information about household waste problems among the Dniprodzerzhynsk population;
- collecting of local resident's signatures under the petition to the local administration with the requirement to refuse the inciniration and to create the conditions for introduction of separating and recycling of household waste in Dniprodzerzhynsk;
- presenting of local resident's signatures to local administration;
- reading of lectures with demonstration of slide film and spreading the information materials about household waste problems in Dniprodzerzhynsk educational institutions;
- making and spreading of fabric bags as an alternatives to polyethylene packages (200 items);
- spreading the brochure " Reduce, reuse, recycle " among ecological NGOs.

Results:
- we have gathered and presented to local administration the 3 000 local resident's signatures under the petition to the local administration with the requirement to refuse the incineration and to create the conditions for introduction of separating and recycling of household waste in Dniprodzerzhynsk;
- we have read 100 lectures about household problems in Dniprodzerzhynsk educational institutions;
- we have spreaded 12 000 copies of information literature about household problems.

• participation in seminar " Preparation and improvement of professional skill, exchange of experience in questions of ecological management the basis of the Ukrainian standards ISO 14001-97/EMAS in the sphere of the treatment with household waste ".
